Alumni office hosts presidential meet-ups, holiday party

The Office of Alumni Engagement has hosted several alumni meet-ups this fall to give alums across the country an opportunity to speak with President David L. Barnett and reconnect with the university.

Events were held in Denver, Colorado; Gainesville, Georgia, at The Boat House at the Lake Lanier Olympic Park; in Athens, Georgia; and will host an upcoming dinner in St. Simon’s Island on Nov. 17. The Alumni Office also is planning gatherings in Atlanta; Greenville, South Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; New York City; San Antonio; Tampa, Florida; and Washington, D.C.

Additionally, the Alumni Office is a sponsor for the Nov. 15 Librewery event on the historic Gainesville campus. This event is open to alumni, grad students, faculty and staff who are older than 21. 

The next alumni event is on Dec. 6 at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. Join Brenau alumni for a wine tasting and holiday party. Tickets are $50 and includes the tasting, food and a gift; register for the holiday event here.

The Brenau Travel Program is offering an early bird discount until Jan. 31 on travel to Pompeii and Amalfi, Italy, with fellow alumni and friends of the university. The trip takes place in June. 

Alumni Reunion Weekend on the historic Gainesville campus is scheduled for April 3-5, 2025. Registration opens in January.
