Anjana Freeman, M.S.


Anjana Freeman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor (CPCS) specializing in trauma, dynamics of violence, resilience, post-traumatic growth, and de-escalation/communication with the mentally ill for Law Enforcement. She is a Certified Forensic Interviewer serving children throughout Hall and Dawson counties and has taught graduate-level Psychology classes since 2009. Additionally, Anjana is one of forty clinicians in the state of Georgia who treats survivors of domestic violence-related murder-suicides through the Murder-Suicide Response Network, a Georgia Commission on Family Violence program. In 2020, Anjana was hired as the Police Mental Health Clinician to create a pilot program in the Gainesville Police Department. This program meets the needs of individuals in Gainesville City and Hall County who have mental health-related incidents involving law enforcement.
