Dr. Hall has served as a professor at the Lynn J. Darby School of Psychology and Adolescent Counseling for the last 13 years. He received his Ph.D. in School Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from the University of Georgia – Athens in 1994. His predoctoral internship was completed at the Medical College of Georgia followed by two years of postdoctoral fellowship training at the Center for Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology at the University of Georgia-Athens. Previous academic faculty appointments have included the University of Georgia, Ball State University, and Columbus State University.
Dr. Hall’s research interests follow a neuroscience theme, especially with a developmental specialization. As a result, areas of research include neurophysiological elements of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as Traumatic Brain Injury, seizure disorders and stroke. Correspondingly, Dr. Hall chairs both master theses and doctoral dissertation research projects.
Hobbies for Dr. Hall include carpentry projects which can be redone several times as well as tractor therapy, or the enjoyment of cutting three or four acres of grass with a good tractor. The best way to block out the demands of the world for a few hours!
