Combine your curiosity of the human body with your interest in exercise and movement by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. As a student in this program, you will work directly with Brenau’s faculty members in small classes and labs, allowing you to master these subjects and ask questions. You will take many math and science classes, as well as a rigorous series of courses focusing specifically on exercise science. Brenau’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science will prepare you to achieve your goals, whether you want to jump straight into the workforce or begin graduate studies in occupational therapy, physical therapy or athletic training. 

Student opportunities 

  • Small class sizes allow you to work directly with Brenau’s exercise science faculty 
  • Options for certifications in strength and conditioning, personal training, and exercise physiology 
  • Take a variety of courses including sports psychology, or health and exercise across the lifespan to prepare you for many career paths 
  • Complete an internship before graduation at a relevant employer such as a physical therapy clinic or with a college athletics department 
  • Conduct a research project and present it at Brenau’s Research Symposium
