Students enter the Occupational Therapy program at the graduate level. There are several majors at Brenau specifically designed to provide the undergraduate preparation for entry into the MSOT program. This Health Science (pre-OT) major is designed for that purpose. Students who take the substantial portion of their undergraduate work at Brenau are given preference in admission.
Brenau’s Bachelor of Science in Health Science touches different facets of the health care industry, giving you a well-rounded overview of the field before you dive headfirst into your career. The program’s interdisciplinary curriculum includes classes in mathematics, science, research methods and medical terminology, so you’ll have a wide range of career opportunities when you graduate. You can also participate in several different field work opportunities, gaining hands-on experience with people in need of health care. The Bachelor of Science in Health Science has four concentrations and prepares you for numerous possible career paths or to attend graduate school in a variety of fields.
