Associate of Arts in Elementary Education
The Associate of Arts in Elementary Education will equip you with the liberal education and elementary education prerequisites you need to easily transition into the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. The curriculum encompasses core courses that emphasize world understanding; scientific and analytic curiosity; artistic and creative imagination; and communication and language fluency — all valuable knowledge you need in the field. This program also makes it easy for you to move into the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, where you will receive your initial certification to work in public or private school systems.
Note: The Associate of Arts in Elementary Education does not lead to initial teaching certification. Students wishing to be certified must transition to the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
