Whether you’re a complete novice, experienced designer or cosplayer, you’ll be taught the necessary skills you need to succeed in the fashion industry through Brenau’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. This program encompasses problem-based apparel design, fashion design for different target markets, preparing visual materials, patternmaking, draping, apparel construction and more.
Student opportunities
- Gain a firm foundation of fashion design and production
- Focus on designing and constructing fashion collections
- Complete an internship in the fashion industry
- Work in a fashion lab with professional sewing equipment, size-inclusive dressforms, and an abundance of fabrics and materials
- Have access to a state-of-the-art computer lab for digitizing, creating and printing patterns
- Partner with Brenau’s Occupational Therapy Department to design clothing for people with disabilities
- Have the opportunity to work in the Brenau Historic Clothing Collection
- Show finished designs in Brenau’s annual fashion show
